Hakyong Gloria Kwak, MD

Hakyong Gloria Kwak, M.D., is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at the Eye Specialty Group in Memphis, Tennessee. A Memphis native, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her medical degree from the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Hamilton Eye Institute.

With a focus on cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and refractive surgery, Dr. Kwak is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Kwak is married with a baby boy and a furbaby. She also enjoys trying new foods and exploring different cuisines.
