As a new patient, you have been referred to us by your regular physician for a medical matter that requires the specialized skills our physicians acquired through extensive, subspeciality training in ophthalmology. In most cases, medical doctors, general ophthalmologists and optometrists refer our patients to us when specialized medical and surgical care is needed to diagnose and treat specific conditions. After treatment, patients generally return to their referring physicians for continued, general care.
